When it comes to downloading files from your Remote GigaDrive server, the HTTP protocol is generally faster than FTP. This is because most ISPs do not throttle HTTP traffic, allowing for quicker and more reliable downloads.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of downloading files using two specific apps: Simple Browser and Advanced Browser. These apps are currently exempt from bandwidth accounting, which means you can download files without affecting your bandwidth limits.
Let’s get started!
Note: For the most up-to-date information on bandwidth-exempt apps, please refer to the Exempted Apps section on your bandwidth status page.
Downloading files using a regular browser such as chrome, edge may not be the most efficient option and can result in slower speeds and a less reliable experience. For this reason, we highly recommend using a dedicated download manager to optimize your download speed and ensure a smoother process.
