¶ Intro
We offer several GUI apps with integrated VNC server. You can use any VNC viewer of your choice to conveniently access and control these apps from your desktop computer.
Please note that the VNC server is no longer enabled by default and needs to be enabled when installing a compatible application from the apps list.

¶ Recommended VNC Clients
¶ Usage Guide
- When installing a VNC supported application via your service’s dashboard, you must check the Expose VNC Ports option as shown here.
- Click button to open the Access Info popup page.
- Click the show button retrieve app’s VNC password and note down the hostname and vnc port.
¶ Secure VNC
- Reinstall the VNC app and turn on the option
Secure VNCunderMore Options.
- Download SSVNC Client v1.0.30 from your members area.
Other versions of SSVNC may not work properly.
- Use
Hostname:VNC_Portin the field ofVNC Host:Display. - Uncheck
Verify All Certs. - Press Connect.
¶ Enable App Audio
- To stream audio output from the application, access it via a web browser. (Audio streaming is not supported through the VNC port.)
- On the webpage, locate the GigaRapid/GR Control Handle (a round-shaped icon) in the left corner.
- Click and drag the slider under Audio to enable sound and adjust the volume simultaneously.
¶ Copy-Paste Using the Clipboard Function
To efficiently copy and paste text between your device and the remote application, use the Clipboard Textarea box available on the web page.
¶ Accessing the Clipboard Textarea

Locate the GigaRapid/GR Control Handle, represented by a round-shaped icon in the left corner of the webpage.

Paste the text you want to share with the remote application into the Clipboard Textarea box.
¶ Copying from the Remote App
- If you copy text within the remote application, it will automatically appear in the Clipboard Textarea box, making it accessible for use on your device.
¶ Connecting
¶ RealVNC Viewer
- Install and open RealVNC viewer.
- Navigate to File > New Connection.
- Enter hostname and vnc port as hostname:port in the VNC Server field.
- Switch to the Options tab and change Picture quality to High and click OK.
- Double click the icon of the newly created connection. It will warn you about unencrypted connection. Click the checkbox to prevent future warnings and continue.
- Enter the password you have already noted down and click OK.
- You will get connected to the app instantly.
¶ TightVNC Viewer
- Install and open TightVNC viewer.
- Enter hostname and vnc port as hostname:port in the Remote Host field.
- Click Options and make changes to the options as follows
- Once done, click OK to save the options.
- Click Connect.
